After finishing my work meeting in Lisbon, my wife and I rented a car and drove down to the south of Portugal to explore the Algarve region — and made this hotel our base. Sagres is pretty much the western- and southern-most point of continental Europe, and one of the rare places where you can see both sunset and sunrise looking out to sea (not in the same direction, obviously).
Room
We got upgraded to a full suite — but without a sea view, pity. A seaview room would have been spectacular: coast, lighthouse, cliffs and/or the marina.
That said, the accommodations themselves were quite good. A large living room:

Sockets and connections were a bit lacking, but we managed to plug everything in by unplugging some things. The kitchen was quite useful and functional:
The bathroom was also large, but the shower (though big) had no door, letting water escape. The sink was large and at the right height — quite suitable for making wudu.

Muslim friendliness
The shag carpet in the living room made praying on the floor easier on my tired knees. The bathroom being off the living area means you can use it without disturbing your partner — or it would, had the bedroom door been fully functional. It turns out the door struggled to close over the carpet, and was noisy even after we moved the carpet.
Facilities
Two pools, indoor and outdoor — both popular, though we ended up using neither. The grounds were very good, with great views of the Atlantic. The workout facility was also pretty good.
